    Pai Gow Poker

The Pai Gow poker has an Asian origin. It has been a casino game for gambling that has a combination of the elements of the seven card stud. It was played originally with the dominoes of the Chinese. Pai Gow poker is currently played as a game with a poker style. It has a deck with 53 cards and one card for the joker. The joker card acts as the wild card.

It can only be used either as the ace or when a player is trying to complete the flush, straight flush or the straight. Each player is dealt with seven cards and from the seven cards the player has to create two hands. The two hands shall be divided into two, the low hand and the high hand. The low hand is composed of two cards and the high hand should have five cards.

How to Play Pai Gow Poker

Seven players can play Pai gow. When each player gets their set of cards, they divide them into hands of two between a set of two cards and five cards. The low hand is the set of two cards and the high hand is the set with the five cards. Every card has its own value from the Pai Gow Poker hierarchy. It varies slightly different from the usual poker rankings, the sole difference is that a hand of five aces composed of an additional joker to the four aces will beat the royal flush. It is thus, the highest hand in Pai Gow Poker.

Doing the ranking between the two hands is rather simple, a player sets them as a pair or not. The pair of aces is the highest hand composed of two cards. The ranking of each cards falls from the order of the kings up to the two's.

The players have to maintain that the high hand should always have a higher rank than the low hand. If the low hand becomes of higher rank, the player will lose his bet because the hand is called a foul hand. When playing the online game however, the player will be prevented by the system in making fouls.

After all the players have set their cards, the dealer will turn his cards facing up after also arranging between the high and the low hand. In a clockwise manner the hands of the dealer are then compared to hands of the player, starting from the player who got the first card. For a player to win, both of the hands should beat the hands of the dealer. If the low hand or the high hand of both the player and the dealer turns out to have the same value, it is called copies. When copies happen, the dealer wins and if one hand of the player beats the hand of the dealer but the other hand doesn't the outcome is termed as a tie but no money can change the hands.
